Hell Hole - Russell

Loved the town of Russell when we visited earlier in the summer. this cool cafe was a beautiful memory and the people behind the counter are kind hearted and laid back. Loved the art installtions and the long blacks they serve. Definitely go to them whenever you visit Russell!

Delicious food, sweets, and coffee in a cafe with character! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal (especially the lemon cake) and would highly recommend coming here if in Russell.

It was pouring rain this morning, usually we grab takeout Coffee and head down the beach, but that wasn’t happening so we sat down at Hell Hole and so glad we did. Not only is the coffee five star, the place has a really good vibe and interesting decor that really works. FYI on google maps the location is wrong, Hell Hole is now located just up the road at the intersection.

The service here is always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is hands down the best in Russell and the toasties are hard to beat. Our favourite place for brunch in the Bay.
