Contribuiți la feedbackThis place was a feed store many years ago. Then it was a flea market, no one needed any fleas, so they closed the flea market and reopen as the Good News Cafe . Ordered the Chicken Poblano Pepper soup and a turkey sandwich that both items were very tasty. Sandwich could 've used more turkey, but tasteful anyway. I 'll have to get sandwich and fruit trays for my catering for my flights.
On a cold, rainy day, nothing warms you up better than some hot soup! So, today, we ordered 2. The tater soup is exquisite. Big chunks of tater bathing in a creamy soup. It definitely hit the spot. Washed it down with some chicken and dumplings. Big, soft dumplings with shredded chicken? Just add some pepper and some Tabasco and you have in front of you a masterpiece of East, TX cuisine. I highly recommend The Good News Cafe if you're in the mood for something on the lighter side.
