Dairy Queen - Jacksonville

I recently visited Dairy Queen on S. Jackson and found that the staff was friendly, the service was good, and the restaurant was clean. However, I was a bit surprised by the higher prices. We ordered a 6-piece Chicken basket and a small Blizzard, which came out to around $20. Personally, I felt that this was pricey for fast food. I could have eaten at a nicer restaurant for the same price.

As we approached the counter, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any staff. We witnessed one worker being rude to another right in front of us. The food appeared messy, and this was evident in the appearance of our cheese sticks.

The sign at the drive-thru requested exact change only, so I gathered some one dollar bills and the exact amount of loose change. However, the attendant became irritated when I took a moment to count out the change. He hastily filled my sundae cup with ice cream and toppings, then squeezed it shut, making it impossible to open without causing a mess. I brought it inside to ask how to open it, and the girl working apologized for her brother's behavior and made me a new sundae. She explained that he sometimes liked to do funny things, but his attitude towards me was unwarranted. Despite the challenges of finding good help, it is important for employees to act professionally.

This dairy queen has the best burgers around. If you go on Monday or Tuesday both days they have burger specials. Highly recommend!!!

Catfish wasn't cooked all the way. But they gladly refunded us and we got a blizzard instead.
