Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse Rowlett

In the past year, Kyoto's service has significantly improved! I have been a frequent customer for a while now and I have noticed that it is much more efficient and the servers are very attentive.

I love coming to Kyoto for their delicious and fresh sushi during week days with some Sapporo. Perfect way to relax on a busy day and the food comes out really fast!

We 've been to Kyoto Rowlett several times over the past 4 yrs that we 've lived nearby. These last couple times have been service nightmares. Our reservation time meant nothing to them. we waited in line behind everyone that was there before us, so we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Drink orders took forever, our waiter just disappeared mid-meal and we had to beg for a check so we could leave at the end of the night. This place is definitely off our list. luckily the Rockwall Kyoto is just down the road. And, they take care of their customers.

Our reservation were at 4:30, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to seat us. Once at the table we waited for another 25 minutes so the remaining 6 chairs at the table could be occupied. I order steak and shrimp, the lady and gentleman next to me order grilled chicken to share. The gentleman doing the cooking served half of my steak and shrimp to the man splitting with his wife. Needless to say my husband and did not have a pleasant experience.

Hibachi chef was the best we have ever had over the last several years.
