Contribuiți la feedbackWhen I say I really wanted to like that, I really did. I was looking for Bossam and I thought, Hey. Instead of going to Ktown to get a lunch special, how about we find somewhere nearby instead of saving some gas? I went to Yelp and looked for good pig belly nearby and that was one of the top options. I saw the garlic bossam and I was looking forward to it. We're here, commanded the front and took our seats. It took not only 30 minutes to get our water and banana, it took 40 minutes to get our food. I wouldn't have noticed so much, but it shouldn't have taken too long to throw Banchan out if there were only 4 other people in the whole restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. The only objects on the photos that were not sweet were the Jokbal, Salat, Kimchi and Soy. Literally everything else was sweet. The macaroni was perfect, but the Gochujang salad mixture on the plate was extremely sweet. When I started my first bite of garlic chef (the reason we came), I expected a savory Umami taste, but unfortunately it was just a sweet garlic paste. The radish should be a pallet cleaner to add to the Sam, but it just added everything even sweeter. We finally finished the meal, but it was just too sweet for us and for the price of $42 overall, it just didn't seem worth it. Typically we get a larger plate of mixed bossam, unweet with refilled banana, for about $30 in Ktown. It just didn't make the cut. I will not go under three stars because the button press for the service is a great function and the space is comfortable, but all in all that we're coming back.
I wish I could mention positive things about the service, but honestly, my friend group and I got a table waiting at 8:00 last night after 45 minutes and ordered the premium boom. We only got our food after sitting and just because we called the bell to ask her where our food was. Nobody checked us. Once we asked where our food was, they said 5-6 more minutes and seemed to have diceed to prepare our order, because they had not even brought out the pages, and it would have had no hour to bring out the secondary dishes. I was very disappointed with the service. As far as food is concerned, food was very good, but we were quite hungry and angry at this point, as it did not seem as if the waiter wanted to take responsibility for the oblivion of our order.
Wow, Mr. Bossam is delicious! I'd come back 100% if I grilled grilled pork. Loved the “All Star Bossam Combo” (original, garlic and green onion) it was wonderful to eat with the provided salad cases. The Grilled Cheese Pork Ribs were also tasty, among them roasted rice and the cheese steamed eggs were a nice touch on the side. Would come back for the All Star Bossam at any time.
Service 10/10. We were welcome and are sitting right away. The staff has always consistently checked us. LA grilled cheese pork ribs 9/10. (They turn it into fried rice with the rest.) Budae kimchi hot pot 9/10. Classic Korean army soup is always good on a cold rainy day. buckwheat noodles in radish water 8/10. Great appetizer to share before the spicy and savory train arrives. Free pages: Mac salad, bean sprouts, Kimchi. occupancy: 40% full on Tuesday night.
Hungry for some bossam on a rainy day and this place definitely hit the spot! The way they do it here is you order at the front and choose to go or dine in after which they'd direct you to a table. The service itself was great! Super attentive and happy to answer questions. AND BEST PART IS SHE WOULD KEEP REFILLING OUR SIDE DISHES AND LETTUCE. Angel on earth There was a lot of food as well!We ordered Garlic and Green Onion Bossam $42 and a Cheese Rib Plate.Bossam 5/5 Despite the price, they really do give a lot. We had a group of 3 and were quite full by the time dinner was over. The marinade also slaps. My fave personally was the garlic!Cheese Rib Plate 3/5 I was mildly disappointed. We got it because it seemed like a popular menu item, but I felt thrown off by its presence on the table. It's huge and comes with egg, sausage, pineapple ? , tteokboki, and more than enough cheesy ribs. I felt though that the ribs didn't have much flavor besides being charred and was merely coated in the cheese/sauce rather than marinated in it. They do offer fried rice at the end, which was pretty good and the reason why I didn't want to rate this meal lower. Overall, the wonderful service, aesthetically pleasing platters, and miracle bossam would bring me back!
