The Cottages On Mill Creek - ROUND TOP

I would totally recommend The Cottages. Sue is the best host. The homemade breakfast is delicious. The Bliss Cottage has old southern charm. My husband and I will be coming here for a little getaway as often as possible.

This place is a gem, therapeutic, and must. I wish I could live here to wake up from the most comfortable bed, and start my morning with hot coffee and amazing home-made served breakfast everyday. If you are coming with your little ones, they will blend into the nature right away. Kids can explore the trails, feed donkeys ponies, fishing at the pond to catch all sorts of fish and get on the swings hung on beautiful tree. And there is always comfortable cottage waiting for you to rest and refuel your body. And the perfect way to finish off your day? How about campfire under the sparkling stars in the night sky.

My husband and I recently stayed over a long weekend in Bliss Cottage at Mill Creek. As others have said, Sue is an amazing chef and her breakfasts are phenomenal. Every morning was a treat with lots of goodies. The cottage was quiet and quite splendid for the two of us with a lovely outside firepit where we made S'mores one evening and watched the stars.Sue was also great with dining tips for us in both Brenham and Round Top, and we had safe, socially-distant lovely meals at several great restaurants we would never have found on our own.We also loved spoiling the mini horses and mini donkeys on the beautiful property. They loved apples which we sliced up and brought them, and Rebekkah the curly haired donkey loved lots of human attention, which was wonderful. We felt like new people after a weekend at this perfect getaway.

Sue Jeff, Your place is absolutely beautiful! Bliss Cottage has been the perfect place for rest and relaxation. Complete restoration for my soul. I enjoyed every minute of my stay! Thank you for your hospitality and great food. I will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Bliss Cottage this past weekend for a last minute getaway and had the best time. If you are needing to relax and unwind this is the place to be. There are 35 acres of trails to hike, fishing, miniature horses, donkeys and cows to keep you entertained. Downtown Round Top is just a short drive away and has some amazing shopping and restaurants. However, you really do not need to leave because you have your own kitchen to cook. The homemade breakfast every morning was such a delight, Sue goes out of her way to make sure you receive the best. We will definitely be back!!
