De Harmonie - Rotterdam

We had a wonderful meal at the Harmonie. In advance we received a number of amuses and also had several sandwiches. The 5 course dinner was more than enough for us. What we found disappointing is that we were not allowed to eat outside while it would remain dry all evening. Inside you sit very close together and it was quite stuffy. Outside you have a beautiful garden with much more space, so we do not understand this either. As if the staff didn't feel like it because no rain was predicted and it wasn't cold. We had already indicated at the reservation that we would like to sit outside and only heard in the restaurant that this was not allowed. If we had known this in advance, we would have preferred to come on another day. We also found that the dishes came very quickly after each other. We thought this was a shame, because it made it feel a little less relaxed. All in all, a delicious meal, but the overall experience was unfortunately a bit less due to these points.
