Sweeties is a charming store with a wonderful selection of chocolates and sweets, ranging from vintage mixes to American products. They are always well-stocked, including delicious treats from Slatterys, and the service is always friendly with a smile. The prices are fantastic, and I have purchased many items here, such as hand-picked gift-wrapped hampers. The £5 treat bags make great gifts! The quality of the products is also exceptional.

Whereas there are recognisable brand names for packaged stuff such as Bassett 's liquorice etc, the jars of loose sweets are of a generic Sweeties brand, which was a bit of a let down. It may well be that they are very good sweets, but I much prefer a sweet shop that stocks the well-known major brands, such as Buchanan 's.

Love this shop has so many great sweets. If you love american stuff this is the place to go. Friendly and helpful staff.
