Thyme - ROSLYN

I recently went to Thyme for brunch and the food was excellent . The inside has a cozy cottage feel to it and the staff were very nice minus one exception...... The hostess . As you can read in previous reviews she is definitely a problem . She is rude, condescending and should not be working in any restaurant in any capacity . She was strutting around like she owned the place and was completely disrespectful to us the second we arrived . It takes a lot for me to write something negative on yelp and I am still giving the restaurant 4 stars because the rest of the staff (bartenders , cooks , bussers etc do not deserve a negative review .

This was a perfect surprise party in a perfect setting, food was exceptional, service was A . There was not one thing that was not excellent! I rarely write reviews but I had to let everyone know how wonderful it was! Steven W.

Food is good, service is great, but the place is unbelievably loud. I left with a satisfied appetite and a splitting headache.

Great spot in Roslyn, LI. Overlooks a pond which is very scenic. Service and staff was great. The drinks and food here were delicious. I would go with any of the cocktails but my **** mary was on point. Food was the standout. Burger was juicy and flavorful. The cob salad was fresh and satisfying. And the crab cakes were a great appetizer. Would definitely come back again. Great in a group or for date night.
