The Stand - Roscrea

Clean, good decor, traditional but modern, pool and darts. With good company what you might ask

Called a few times for a stay in town. It is a nice pub with friendly staff and locals and we were made to feel welcome when I lived in Roscrea, then this would be my locals.

Preferred pub on visits to Roscrea. Contains a lot of nostalgia and memories. Excellent pint of Guinness. Various TVs showing sport and the big screen for big games. I personally prefer the intimacy of the smaller outer bar as you enter the pub. Staff are...excellent and very attentive.

Food is very good and great value for money it's very well presented and the staff are friendly. I visit on a regular basis and have never been disappointed

Brought my mam for lunch here and I have to say it was delicious! We were welcomed by a very friendly girl called Dearbhaill who gave us menus and showed us to a table....We ordered Chicken Vol a vont, salad and chips. There was endless...pieces of chicken and everything was very tasty and very well presented. We'll definitely be back again....
