Fish'n'chick'n - ROMFORD

I recently ordered fish and chips for my husband at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the chips were not as large as I had requested and paid extra for. They were smaller than expected and also included pointy sharp pieces of flat chip offcuts, which was a disappointing experience. When I ask for large or fat chips, I expect to receive what I paid for, and serving hard bits of chips is unacceptable. Due to this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Always cooked fresh and have had quite a few takeaways from here. Sometimes chips could be cooked a little longer but everything is always piping hot and delicious. We've even had them deliver before and it's usually in under mins as we're quite close. The one time they forgot our drink, they went right back and got it for us straight away. Highly recommend

Reminded myself the other week why I never use this shop and always drive the extra mile to the Chippy in Harold wood . We had my grandson over who wanted a take away late in the day, around so went to FishnChicken as I live minutes away. medium cod and chips and x saveloy and chips ? got it home and it was all stone cold I drove so we were unwrapping it withing minutes), Tried warming it in the microwave but ended up thowing it in the bin. complete waste of money

Worst Chip shop ever!! Cold chips, asked for breast of chicken got thighs ribs were not cooked properly!! Disgusting food that went in the bin

Had fish'n'chips at Fish'n'Chick'n tonight. I've probably had or really bad fish and chips in my lifetime I don't eat this often and I think, with the possible exception of a couple of Chinese takeaways that do chips really badly, this might be the worst both fish AND chips I've ever had! The chips were hard and mostly cold; the batter was really difficult to bite into and the fish inside was rubbery to solid. I had a small fish cheap admittedly but I think it may have been there since lunchtime! I've never ordered from here before and I won't be returning. They clearly are in the business for the money; not for a love of good food
