Mcalister's Deli - Rome

Oops! It seems like we were overlooked! It took about half an hour for our dine-in order to arrive, which consisted of two sandwiches. When we inquired about the wait time, it showed up just five minutes later. Another customer had to ask about her order as well. I had the BLT-A, and it was delicious! Scott ordered the Reuben, but we were surprised to find that "spud chips" was just a fancy way of saying a bag of chips; I recommend choosing a different side. If we decide to return, we’ll probably skip the sandwiches and try the stuffed potatoes instead.

I ordered chili on January 23, 2022, and I was disappointed with the portion size—it was very small for the price, and there were no crackers included. However, the real issue is evident in the picture: it was basically a bowl of grease and not at all edible. I won’t be ordering again! It seems they don’t care, as I never received a response about this situation!

I have visited this location a few times, and each experience has been fantastic. The staff is wonderful, and the food is delicious. We've enjoyed the salads and potato dishes, and the Club, New Yorker, and French Dip sandwiches are exceptional. I highly recommend this place!

Other than the chicken Cesar wrap lacking any significant amount of chicken the food drinks were tasty.

Food wise everything is great. I've never had a bad meal from here. The service and dinning room however is a different story. Wait time to order has always been long and waiting for the food to arrive to our table even longer. Everytime I walk in the dining room is covered with dirty tables and no employees upfront. They all come out from the back eventually. There's not many places to sit because all the tables have leftover food and dirty plates on them. No one wants to eat next to someone's else's trash and leftovers. I saw one employee clean off ONE table the whole time I was there and by clean off he just grabbed the leftover plate and walked away. No wipe down whatsoever. This will be my final time eating in at McAlister's of Rome.
