Rito Cafe - Roma

We where here just for a short time, because we where very hungry, after visiting a sightseen tour, but that choice was very good for us. The original italian pizza, and the atmosphare of the place is special, and the location is good as well.

We had an early morning tour and needed a quick bit. Great assortment of pastries and good coffee staff was friendly and service was quick. Place is pretty clean considering the amount of foot traffic. .

Having seen this cafe a few days when visiting the Colosseum we decided to give it a try before exploring Palatine Hill and The Roman Forum and we were not disappointed. We both had a pizza which were very tasty and enjoyable followed by puddings and a beer or two. Service was good and the price reasonable would recommend.

Plan to eat someplace else especially if you have time. We were wedded to the Colosseum/Forum area during our one day (8 hour) visit to Rome. We found this place sitting above the Metro stop (there's nothing at the Colosseum level). You pay for the view, the food is average and beware the service attempting to add charges. We observed an English father dealing with that. Not a great experience.
