Re Artu - Roma

Rahim was our waiter and he was fantastic! We visited this restaurant twice because we only found it two days before we left Roma. We loved the food! I would recommend Spaghetti Carbonara, it was my favourite. Really good portions and very tasty food.

We happened to end up here after getting to the train station too early for our flight. We were greeted by Meryl who was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. She spoke excellent English and told us we could sit as long as we liked after we'd eaten. I ordered a cheese free pizza and wanted mushrooms too which was fine. My partner ordered a 4 cheese pizza and Meryl even checked to see if he wanted the blue cheese. We were brought condiments with our meal and fresh glasses with ice whenever we ordered a drink. The food was beautiful and the customer service even better! The toilets were spotless and smelled of lavender too. They had lots of tables outside for people to sue and eat their meals and inside itself was also very clean and tidy. Highly recommend this place. I just wish we'd found it before we were going home as we would definitely return. This place is situated opposite the Termini rail station just around the corner from McDonald's. Do visit and you won't be disappointed!

We were not expecting great food in this location just opposite the station so we received what we thought we would, fast food that was OK in all ways but nothing more. Regretfully, the same could not be said about the toilets. Filthy, unhygenic, no lock on the door just a bit of very thin wire, no toilet paper, no soap, no towels ... I stll feel dirty thinking of it.

This was a gem. Doesn't look too great or too fancy, but the food was great. We went twice. A group of six, they served us many pitchers of free tap water and all the pastas that we ordered were amazing (carbonara x2 , talligate, tortalini, eggplant parmigiana, and spaghetti). They were all excellent and we were quite impressed. Prices ranged from 8-10 euros. We went back again and got the items others had. Our favourites were carbonara and tortalini. The gelato is okay, but not as great as other places. The bonus was how much tap water they provided after longs days walking in Rome. We would go again.

We stopped here twice for pizza and beers in the middle of the day. The beers were welcome and the pizzas delicious. Service was charming and helpful. Each time staff were able to easily converse with us in English. We first went to this restaurant about 7 years ago and the quality of pizza has been maintained.
