Let’s face it. It is likely that most restaurants in Trastevere will provide better than average meals to their customers. There is so much competition that restaurants in Trastevere either deliver excellence or they may not survive, So you may be thinking, “What makes Pizzeria Nerone stand out from their many competitors?” I would suggest that the friendly staff that included Probir, their head pizza chef remembering me from 2019, my most recent visit to Rome, as making a positive impression. In fact, when I asked Probir which pizzas are his favourites he mentioned his top three. We chose the poppea pizza, number 36 and were not disappointed with this wood fired and produced pizza. Outstanding pizza, competitive prices and welcoming, friendly staff makes it a no-brainer for where to savour some of the best one can experience anywhere,

A simple place, with a simple service, but with a great pizza! Great prices, honest food, a must go if you like to have a true Italian pizza experience!

If you want the best pizza of Rome, you definately should visit Nerone!! Nice street views, very friendly waiter!!

Il grande mimmo un padrone di casa eccezionale, nel pulsante cuore di roma (tratevere.) tutto molto buono soprattutto patatine. davvero eccezionale.
