La Grotta Amatriciana - Roma

Found this restaurant on our 3rd night and visited again the next day. Beautiful food and wonderful staff I would highly recommend a visit

Cam here for lunch. Pizza and Cacio e Pepe pasta was amazing! Highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and the service was great.

First evening in Rome, we did not know where to dine and we were drawn from this place and from a waiter who proposed the menu. very close to the station and therefore also to our hotel. we had dinner with a pizza .. the base, most likely it was frozen pizzas. Nothing special. the waiters, on the contrary, were very kind and very helpful.. but I'm sorry. I wouldn't come back and eat it.

After we were repeatedly disappointed by the quality of food in rom, we found la grotta. hopes were not so high, and it was not much better. eating was average, well prepared, but not what they would expect from an Italian...kitchen why this place gets 5 star reviews beyond me, it is absolutely not on this level. for a fast bite I can certainly recommend it, but do not expect any Italian masterpiece meal.

We stumbled in and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had the onion soup, various pastas, and several glasses of wine. Staff friendly and service was spot on...
