So, if you can, book a table in the hall at the entrance to the road height.
.if you eat downstairs, there is little space and you will smell with the smell of kitchen on clothes, which for me is a negative note. We tried the cutting board, cheese fondue, mushroom soup, spinachspatzle, würstel mix, pork stylus. Plentiful dishes, good everything, very pleasant fondue with bread pieces. The desserts did not shine. Tyrolean cuisine in general is not very light, so I suggest not to exaggerate in order, worth a difficult night. Friendly service, location a little too crowded especially at this time. I count online.
After quite some time living of pasta in italy, we were craving a classical Wienerschnitzel. To our surprise, there are quite a few options in Rome. While it was not quite as good as what I have experienced in the DACH-region, it was still tasty and a great representation of traditional Austrian cuisine. The side dish to the wienerschnitzel, the kässpätzle, were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant, with a cozy and welcoming ambiance. While the prices were a bit higher than in a comparable italian restaurant, I found it to be worth it for the experience. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of DACH while in Rome, although it may not quite compare to dining in these countries itself. They also offer fondue.
I had already been in Cantina Tirolese many years ago and had already very good memories. I can just confirm my old positive judgment: cosy place, good atmosphere, nice service and very tasteful, well cooked food. It was really worth the money spent!
Very little for vegetarians, but the dishes that are, are excellent. All perfectly seasoned, especially the ravioli superb. Liked it a lot.
