Blackmarket San Lorenzo - Roma

This is a trending downstairs bar/restaurant. Membership is required for entry, but totally worth the extra 2 min wait time. Best bartenders in town. Their expertise knows no bounds!

My husband and I were staying in Monti and found this place on google. We were greeted by a friendly doorman who said that he had to take down our info because they are an association. This didn't bother us. We were told that there were no seats and to stand by the bar. We got lucky and seats opened up shortly after. You can tell that this is a very popular place! It was packed with locals. The manager at the bar was so kind to us and helped us with ordering. We especially loved the indie music that they played. The drinks are no joke. They are well made and beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Visited here in June with my boyfriend for cocktails. A good mix of eclectic flavours were on offer. Friendly and prompt service. Run of the mill drinks are also offered aswell as cocktails.

Great quirky cocktail bar, friendly staff. Interior is excellent, plenty of quirky ideas. We popped in for the night cap and it was great. Drinks came with snacks too.

Before coming to Rome we googled a few cocktail bars as we wanted a night out. This was one of the first to come up and the reviews photos sold it for us. It was a little out of the way so we had to get a taxi which cost us around 6 euros, which wasnt bad. The area the cocktail bar was situated in can only be described as sketchy. However once inside we knew we were onto a winner. The decor was very BoHo chic and the music was very quirky which we loved. After been given the menus we were struggling for what to choose as the selection seemed quite esoteric. Luckily for us the bartender noticed this as was quickly on hand asking us what kind of cocktails we liked. In no time he had created two off the menu cocktails taliored to us. He must have been checking on us, as after we finished each drink he was staright over asking us what we thought and armed with more unique cocktails ideas. It soon filled up with locals which is always a good sign. All in all this place was a highlight of our holiday.
