Koryo Bbq (cross Iron Mills Mall)

I will not be returning to this restaurant after my recent visit, like many others. I ordered the BBQ beef plate with potatoes and dumplings as sides, along with rice. The beef was terrible - tough, chewy pieces with a flavorless sauce that was barely there. It was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with the wooden knife. The dumplings were okay, but they were lukewarm. The service was also poor, with customers being treated rudely and told to wait in line for their orders. I was extremely disappointed as it was nothing like the Korean BBQ I had expected or had previously enjoyed. I will not be dining here again.

I don't recommend this restaurant at all their food is not good, not tasty, the quantity not enough besides the prices really high .... the people who are working there don't tell clearly what the dishes include....

The beef was undercooked and extremely tough to chew. The overall presentation of the food was unappetizing, and the potatoes tasted like they were spoiled. I would not recommend dining here; it would be better to spend your money elsewhere.

I ordered the Korean beef combo and was disappointed. The food was cold and the beef was not even cut. It was two large, pale pieces of meat with sauce on top, making it impossible to cut with the provided wooden knife. The dish looked nothing like the picture on the menu. The sides were green beans (refrigerator cold) and garlic potatoes (nothing special). The rice was stale and there were two large scoops of it. Overall, this experience at Koryo BBQ in Calgary was extremely disappointing. Previous visits to Koryo BBQ at other malls in Calgary have been decent, but this one was horrible.

Avoid this place. It is expensive and the food is NOT fresh and it tastes terrible. Who would of thought that reading google reviews ahead of time in a food court would be critical?? I regret not reading them because the negative comments are a blatant warning to stay away. We ordered three beef meals. They stacked half the plate with stale rice and between the three of us, we had broccoli, glass noodles, garlic potatoes and green beans as sides. Every single side was stone cold as if they were leftovers taken out of the fridge and served directly to us. Even more maddening, the disgustingly chewy beef was also cold! It appeared the meat came off the grill but clearly the grill was NOT turned on because the meat was COLD!! Complete regrets that we ordered from here….huge waste of $55 because the meals were not edible and we should have walked another 12 feet and chosen another business for a hot meal. There is a serious issue when negative complaints have been consistently shared for years and nothing changes. It will only be a matter of time before a public health report is issued for this location.Dietary restrictions: There is no possibility they can accommodate for dietary restrictions when they cannot even serve a hot meal.
