China Taste - Rockwall

My family and I went here today after church for lunch and were surprised that they offered a lunch menu on Sunday. Love that!! In this economy saving money anyway you can is great! I’ve been craving a good moo goo gai pan but every where I’ve gone near here it’s been terrible. So I was a little nervous to order it but wanted to give them a shot. And boy am I glad I did!! It was SO GOOD!!! The flavor was on point!! My daughter got the kids chicken fried rice and loved it! She usually has some leftover to bring home but she cleaned her plate! My husband got the General Tso’s Chicken. He said it was good. The fried rice was yum! The egg drop soup was delicious! My husband got the hot and sour soup. He said it was good but had a bit of a bite to it. The sweet and sour sauce was very flavorful. They brought some out with our spring rolls. Those were ok. I liked that they were crispy. But they were a little dry. But overall not terrible. The only thing we didn’t like there was the fortune cookies lol! They were very stale haha! But we will definitely be back!!

Just ordered Uber eats. The sweet and sour is very runny. I ordered beef fried rice. The rice tasted old, like it had been sitting for a couple of days, maybe it would have tasted better if it was fresh. The fortune cookie was old, it didn't crack it bended all weird lol. I wouldn't order again. I am trying out different Chinese restaurants in my new area to see which one deserves my business and I know exactly what iam looking for as far as taste goes.

First time into China Taste tonight. The food was really great. We ordered 4 Appetizers. 3 dishes. Everything was great.

I’ve always ordered from this place through Uber Eats, however today was the first time I used their website and ordered online for pick up. My issue was that from their photos it shows 2 egg rolls under each pic. However, when I went to pick up the order the lady told me that only the spring rolls come with two and that for the egg rolls it’s actually just one single egg roll which is fine but they need to clarify that on their online menu because it’s misleading.. and they lady seemed to have an attitude when I brought it to her attention.

Me and my dad come here all the time. Its a lovely quiet little place to relax and eat. The service is good and so is the food. I always get the egg drop soup and orange chicken, my favorite :
