Botanero - Rockville

Great service. Excellent food! I have been here twice and love the old school feel of a great wait staff that know the finer point of service, like, to pour a bottle of wine and let you taste it. The food is just perfect.

I highly, highly recommend Botanero for catering! We contacted the restaurant for our wedding, and from the first interaction with Ken, I knew they would be perfect for our special day. The tasting, communication while we waited to our special day, reasonable prices for what is delivered, responding and answering my questions, to the day of the wedding, Ken, Nicole, and their team completely exceeded our expectations. We opted for a buffet style menu which provided so many delicious options while being plentiful for our guests. We particularly enjoyed the beef short rib and truffle Mac and cheese. We received so many compliments from our guests. Your restaurant will always have a special place in our hearts for how perfect the day was, and we could not have done it without this team of great folks. Thank you all so much! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with request for vegan options when they catered our wedding. Also helped with providing gluten free options for us.

First time I went to Botanero's, I went for brunch. It was great. The other day, we went for lunch. My husband really liked the shrimp tempura. I had red snapper. It came in a little pan of its own. There was too much oil in the pan and the fish was kind of dry. However, I think to enjoy your meal there, go with a group and order a variety of dishes to share...you know...tapas style.
