This place could be a lot nicer than it actually is, the ladies working there are very nice and they're trying their best but ... the tables were sticky and the general feeling being the whole place needs a very good cleaning ... all the food lacked any type of seasoning so it was bland (why serve fries with no salt on them!?!? , but it seemed like it was properly cooked ... the burger ... that should be taken of the menu, dry, bland and the buns were very plain as well ... that thing I wouldn't order again, ever. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but it's a shame as the place seems to have a lot of potential to be a very nice place where one would be able to have a very decent meal. I ate a late lunch with my girlfriend here. She asked for no onions on her cheeseburger and I asked for onion rings to go with my scallops. She got onions on her burger and I didn’t get onion rings. The waitress apologized and went back to fix things. Very few scallops in my meal and very greasy. The table next to us had ordered seafood chowder to go with their meal and they got lobster chowder instead of seafood. They commented about it at the end of the meal and once again the waitress apologized. What’s the chance that 2 tables would have 3 orders wrong AND bad food? Not going there again. Stay away. The sign of a good restaurant is one that takes constructive criticism along with good reviews and works on becoming better instead of sarcastically saying “we’ve been here 31 years”. These folks do a great job with what they do. Diner feel where real people are actually making the food and not depending on the freezer. We went there for dessert. The home made blueberry pie with ice cream rocks.! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
