After we just return from Europe, where children are served first, it's such a shame that we can't get it here, and by the way, it's a monday night in a country rockhampton. we just wanted a few garlic bread and a steak. !
Pleasant environment, friendly staff and fantastic eating if they like steak and sweet. steak was perfectly cooked. it was a good choice of seasonal vegetables, perfectly cooked. will definitely return when I feel like a steak in the opposite.
My partner and I had a meal there shortly after Christmas. very busy, but could only see 2 people in the kitchen. it was told for 45 minutes for our 2 meals. Normally we are in these situations understand, but the girl on the theke was emphatic to me that a 20% surcharge applied to the celebration. I thought such surcharges were applied to additional penalties, but in this case it seemed locked up by the administration because of the personal shortage. the meals came 1 hour after order. our dozens of oysters were temperate in the room and our steaks were hardly warm, so the meals were sitting for one before we were called. our total expenditure for eating and wein were $236 for the 2 of us, so a nice little earner for the business anyway.
On the 21st juni 2021 I attended an important lunch in rockhampton and when I appeared for the event from brisbane, I decided to spend a fifth night stay to see a bit more of what rockhampton has to offer, as well as on the Sunday of my stay I have reviewed an interesting tour with a visit of the archer park rail museum separately) on the morning and a walked on the two hours. the first building on my walk was the great feature hotel. here I decided to review the history of the place and take lunch. the midday zone of the hotel is called bush inn bar and grill, named after the earlier name of the hotel – the bush inn. I chose to lunch her ryno burger house made bark patty, pickle, fried egg, caramelized plank, speck, double cheese and smokey bbq in a brioche bungalow and chips). it was presented beautifully; but it was overloaded with too much BBQ sauce and that really spoils the meal. I also had to wait 75 minutes until the meal arrives when I had ordered and although, yes it was a Sunday, it seemed not crowded, and so I think that this is too long a waiting. the atmosphere in the bistro was cheerful and thanks the goodness that I could choke a drink while I went on my favorite discord of the “people observers” while waiting. overall the midday experience was a disappointment. I have however enjoyed the history asspects of the property separately checked). despite the disappointment of the lunch at my visit on the site.
Horrible experience.. Food is awful. Obviously pre cooking food and serving it cold and inedible... Steak cremated despite ordering it medium rare!! Eat elsewhere..
