Little Nick's Bbq - Rockford

Snagged a brisket sandwich on a whim and cannot wait to try more of this food. Melt in your mouth brisket. Green beans are to die for. Absolutely see why they’re world champs.

Freshly made pork rinds!!!!!!!... that's all I'm going to say. Okay I lied... thickly sliced brisket, cannibas infused sauce. You'll fall in love with them even though they dip out to bbq contests fairly regularly without much notice and leave you jonesing. Lol.

Complete trash! I had been hearing a lot about this place, mixed reviews for sure so I decided to give them a try see what the fuss was about for myself. However As you can see from the pictures they did me bogus! So wrong... I paid $15.35 for 1/2 lb tip dinner 2 sides no drink. I got about 7 or 8 dry, over smoked, jerky chewy, hard pieces of rib tips that were so hard they were inedible. The Macaroni cheese had potential but it was mostly burnt cheese inedible, I also got the cornbread as a side it was ok but unfortunately I couldn 't enjoy the meal. I called and complained, the young man that handled my call was very kind and sweet, he offered to remake the order and insisted I got a bad batch of tips (laughable far from the truth I wouldn 't feed that to my dog. I kindly declined and requested my money back. Took the food right back, got a refund I will never return! As kind and sweet the young man was at the counter, he really tried to make it right I appreciate the effort in the second attempt but it should 've been good the first time. I also must mention that the feeling I got was they were going to sell every crumb right down to the burnt, dry inedible pieces and they were hoping that whoever got it would just chop it up as a loss and not complain or bring it back! (This was from the vibe I got from the folks standing in the back kitchen, they did not care at ALL So spend your money here at your own RISK! I 'LL NEVER GO BACK!

We stopped by to get some of the food it was amazingly tasty and the smoked BBQ was awesome. It was a bit pricey and they seemed to be out of some things. I am a travel nurse, minister and author of 7 Christian books.

I 'm kicking myself for not taking pictures of the food... This was my first visit here (Not my last! and I feel confident in saying Rockford has some great BBQ in town! You could smell the meat smoking from the parking lot! If you have been to Dickies BBQ, try this place and you will never look back. Dickies uses smoke 'Flavor ' and you can easily taste the difference. Little Nicks seems to be expanding. They bought a new building and they even got a new food truck. This is one place to look forward to seeing the food truck in your area.
