Maciano's Pizza - Rockford

This restaurant serves amazing pizza, especially Chicago style. Although I have only ever tried their pizza, I'm sure their other dishes are delicious too. Their pizza is so good that I always have to order it whenever I come here. Highly recommended!

Favorite Rockford Restaurant. A favorite restaurant of my wife and I. It is not too big, which makes it a great atmosphere. They offer good portions at reasonable prices, and have good lunch specials. They have several good sandwiches, calzones, and pizzas. The breadsticks are great, and sometimes we'll pick them up as an appetizer with our home cooked meals. I was less thrilled about the lasagna, but I don't mind since there's so many other things that I enjoy.

The breadsticks at this restaurant are absolutely divine. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I have never come across another place that even compares to the deliciousness of their breadsticks. In addition, their pizza is also very tasty. It's unfortunate that they no longer offer their incredible mac and cheese balls, as they were a favorite of mine.

First time at Maciano's. Traveling by Chicago area and wanted deep dish pizza. Our server was awesome, very friendly. The 14' inch deep dish pie with 4 toppings was cheesy and delicious. Just way too much food for 2 of us. Took the other half to go and ate at our hotel. Only downside was the fried calamari app was cold and greasy. We sent it back and were given credit. Definitely recommend the deep dish pizza!

If you haven't had their deep fried ravioli, then you NEED to try them! That's what keeps me coming back. Not that the rest of the food isn't great, but the ravioli is heaven in my mouth! The pasta dishes that I've tried so far have all been delicious as well.
