I pride myself on trying to always find the best. This is the best, taste, consistency, service.

Any place or person can have an untypical bad day. I see a lot of positive reviews, so I’m hoping my experience there was uncommon for them. I eventually give most places another try, but will not do so in this case. My daughter, son-in-law and myself ordered $40 of take-out. We placed the order at 5:25pm. With only one order ahead of us, we were given our food at 5:59pm. I’d asked for a small side of extra teriyaki. It wasn’t there. The cashier said we’d need to wait 5 more minutes, and pay $1. I decided to not cause my family to wait for more. The egg drop soup was very hot and flavorful, so hot that it actually burnt my mouth. That’s my fault, for not being more careful. I liked the soup, but the consistency was not what I expected. It was very thick. It reminded me of gelatin, when it’s still hot and you haven’t put it in the fridge to set. It’s probably due to a liberal use of corn starch. My daughter and son-in-law thought their food was “okay”, but not great. She shared half an egg roll with me and it was very good. My entree was teriyaki chicken with white rice and broccoli. With the soup being so hot, I didn’t expect my entree to be cold. The other entrees were hot, and their rice was in separate tiny boxes. My rice and teriyaki chicken were put side by side in a styrofoam container. The chicken and rice were slightly warm, but the teriyaki sauce wasn’t warm at all. It was cold, thick and paste-like. It was so cold that I wondered if it was taken from a fridge and smeared over the top just before being bagged. The chicken pieces were dry. They tasted like the left-overs from a rotisserie chicken that has reached the “use or loose” day. Mental note to self …. DON’T GIVE IN TO YOUR COMMITMENT TO NOT WASTING FOOD, AND EAT IT ANYWAY! I’m still so sick as I write this. In less than half an hour I was very sick. I’m thankful my family wasn’t in the mood to try my entree. It’s been many years since I’ve gotten sick from eating out. Like I said, my experience might be from an unusually bad day. Definitely unfortunate for me.

I ordered a shrimp egg roll, had a grand total of 1 shrimp.

Great service, the food is spot on. Great selection and flavors.
