I called ahead to request a reservation for six people on the patio and was assured that a 7 PM seating would work well, as they had a large party reserved for 6:30. Upon our arrival, we were disappointed to find that our table wouldn't be ready for another 40 minutes. Another couple, who arrived after us and also had reservations, was left waiting too. When we were finally seated, we noticed that the water glasses had already been filled—two of them with melted ice, likely left behind by the previous guests. My own water glass had dry lipstick marks on it from someone else. The bread basket we received was incredibly stale and burnt, with what seemed to be onion seasoning on top. We then waited another 15 minutes for drinks and for our server to attend to us, only to find that my glass of wine also had lipstick on the rim. We waited so long for our server to take our food orders that my fiancé had to go to the bar himself to ask for a fresh glass of wine for me. My soup appetizer was forgotten, despite two others in our party receiving theirs (the same soup). Additionally, the OBI house salad was overwhelming with onions, and the pizza was burnt. I'm really disappointed because OBI has such a lovely setting and atmosphere. It has always been a family favorite, but it seems they might be taking on more than they can properly manage.
