The place is old but cozy, well maintained, and spacious for dining I believe this is a hidden gem in Binondo for diners looking for relaxed and quiet time to dine or rest after all the walking and shopping. Not much to see in the immediate area as it's at the Escolta side between Jones Bridge and the the Chinatown arch, but Polland's rustic but well preserved shop is, I believe, worthy of a visit for their best tasting hopia and Chinese delicacies. We bought both from EBT and Polland and sampled it when we got back home, buying custard and mahu (pork floss) hopia from both of the top hopia brands in the country. We did a blind taste test and surprisingly, Polland was our winner! Great texture and not excessively sweet as its more popular competition. Parking: Paid parking available at Escolta Parking Building, just a stone throw away from Polland Hopia Cafe.

Place wasnot busy when we came.. we trief their unique offering of nanchang which was ok... tried also their siopao which is also good.. like the chinese style lumpia though Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₱1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

While in Escolta or the Binondo area, one of the nicest things you can buy is hopia! Polland is the one that can give Eng Bee Tin a tough competition. The place also acts as a cafeteria; they serve coffee, tea, and other Chinese favorites. They also offer other food items such as nuts, candies, and rare snacks. If you’re tired of walking in the area, you can relax in this comfortable shop.
