Talking Pint (the) - Riverview

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and while it wasn't too busy when we arrived, the service suggested otherwise—it felt like the place was packed. We waited 40 minutes for our food and drink refills, and unfortunately, when our meals finally arrived, there was hair in mine. They kindly offered me a replacement entree and a discount. I also noticed that some staff members appeared to be socializing and drinking with guests, which struck me as quite unusual. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're just looking to hang out at the bar; the service there seemed to be faster and more efficient. Additionally, the prices for bar food without alcohol are quite steep—over $50 for just two people.

Everything here is fantastic, except for the trivia. It's poorly organized, and the prizes are mostly alcohol-related, which is a problem since none of us drink. This week, the trivia theme was Disney, and we found a bar tab to be an inappropriate prize. The host was quite rude, even grabbing a sheet from our table without any explanation. It also took way too long to continue with the game. We will definitely be skipping trivia nights in the future. We usually enjoy the Pint and appreciate the staff, but this was not our best experience.

We were looking for a place to watch women’s Olympic basketball at 10 am, they were open and super quick. We sat at the bar and tried the Keel watermelon cider. The brunch items had so much flavor and filling! We tried the biscuits and gravy, grits and the chicken and gravy. The manager came out and chatted, all around nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Absolutely loved it! We ordered the honey Sriracha wings, the turkey bacon club, and the bistro smash burger. I can't wait to return! The French onion burger is simply amazing— it just melts in your mouth.

Very disappointed in food and service, will not be back. Ordered carryout for 2 rib meals, a steak, appetizer and mac and cheese. Steak was raw and completely not edible (zero seasoning aside). It was raw and gray on top. Both rib meals were beyond typical char and were just straight burned on 90% of them making them dry and bitter. I dont leave reviews and rarley complain unless it is just that bad. I called and spoke to a gentleman manager that same night, yesterday 8/1 and informed him 2 meals were fine but 3 were literlly going to my dogs and gave him details on the issues. He apologized for the issues and offered to provide a gift card for the meals or issue a refund on my card if I stopped in today 8/2. He stated he would leave a note with my receipt. He apologized more and was sincere. I went out of my way today to go back there to resolve it and was told by a different manager they don 't issues refunds or gift cards for bad meals and that I needed to have brought it back in that night because to many people try to scam and that wasn 't the story he heard . If when I called I was told I had to bring back the bad food to get my money back I would have. My dogs were happy to eat the steak and ribs for dinner and my daughter was fine with her mac and cheese. 3 of 5 meals bad with no resolution. Not impressed.
