The Sushi 2016 - Rivervale

Tasty miso, rotating sushi bar and excellent tablet ordering system made dining very easy. Attentive friendly staff too. $3.90 for all items rotating passed is good value. I found the chicken a little dry but that would be my only recommendation.

Nice little lunch place to grab a quick bite to eat. I love their sushi train. You can also place your orders on an iPad which is very convenient. All of the smaller rolls and nigiri are $3.90 so very reasonable. I've just eaten a sun dried tomato small roll and it is very interesting. It has sun dried tomatoes, avocado and cream cheese. I also love their kingfish (yellowtail) nigiri. They have lunch specials and hot side items, miso for $3, hot green tea $3, hand rolls $3.90, gunkan rolls, seared aburri, and black rice rolls. Service is pretty fast and friendly. The atmosphere is peasant and laid back. I have been here a few times and have been pleased with my food.

The Sushi 2016 in Rivervale is my favourite sushi train restaurant. You're always greeted by the friendly staff and a member guides you to your seating either at the barstools or in a booth. Their sushi selection is delicious, featuring some unique options you might not have encountered before. I find that out of the other sushi trains in Perth, The Sushi 2016's quality and service here are consistently high. For first time visitors, I recommend the Aburi choices and the hand rolls, especially the crab and aburi salmon they're not just delicious but also quite filling. Picking dishes of the sushi train is fun but I always order from the Ipad at a fixed price of $4.50 as this are freshly prepared. Besides the sushi, the menu offers many other options like noodle and rice dishes. If you're looking for tasty and quality sushi for a competitive price, please come here! If you're anticipating genuinely authentic Japanese sushi, I wouldn't classify it as purely Japanese, given that the staff is Korean and some dishes draw inspiration from Korean cuisine. Nevertheless, I still choose to dine here for the Japanese food! One thing to note: this place is always buzzing, and parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Great variety, straightforward, reasonable prices at $3.90 per plate, and nice, efficient service. <br/ <br/ they also have other options like ramen and udon for a higher price. <br/ <br/ just beware, for some reason, some of the rolls come with a massive amount of cucumber! i got 5 pieces in the one roll, and this was the same for 2 different rolls we ordered!<br/ <br/ would come back.
