Wienerschnitzel - Riverside

I hadn't visited a Wienerschnitzel since the 1990s because there weren't any locations in the three towns I lived in. It was great to finally enjoy my favorite hot dog and meet the friendly staff working there. Although it's not as convenient to my current home, I will definitely return—even if that unusual guy with the knot on his head is hanging out in the parking lot again. Come for the quirky characters, stay for the delicious food!

I really enjoy Wienerschnitzel, especially their everyday $4.99 chili combo that includes a chili burger, chili dog, and chili cheese fries. Unlike other locations, there’s no need for a coupon. The service is always quick and the place is clean, plus you can watch TV inside while you eat.

The food was well-prepared and the service was excellent. The only downside was that my pretzel bun was rock hard, but when I politely requested a replacement, they happily accommodated me with great courtesy!

This is my first visit to Wienerschnitzel since 2018. My previous experiences were disappointing due to rude, indifferent staff, and my orders were often incorrect. I decided to stop going because of these issues. However, I recently noticed they now offer veggie hot dogs, so I gave it another chance. I was pleasantly surprised—the service was fantastic, and the veggie hot dogs were surprisingly delicious. I’m happy to say that I will be returning!
