The Hideaway Cafe Lounge - Riverside

I would give this place zero stars if I could! The bartenders were probably the rudest I've encountered in all of California. I really don't understand how this place stays in business. The music was painfully loud and sounded like a broken boombox — there were serious sound issues! I wouldn't recommend seeing a show here; it was the worst experience! Such a waste of money!

The location is lovely and the music was fantastic—I went on cumbia night and it was on point. Unfortunately, the bar service was really disappointing, which is why I’m giving it only 3 stars. We waited 40 minutes in line just to get a drink, and there seemed to be only one bartender working. Maybe one of them called off that night, haha.

The waitress informed us that she didn't have a liquor license, so she couldn't make an Old Fashioned or a Jameson and ginger ale—I'm not even sure what that entails. Instead, she managed to prepare two terrible gin and tonics and some burnt fries (see picture for reference). Those aren't cigarette butts; those are our $6 fries. It was awful. I couldn't even taste the ranch or ketchup.

Empty dance floor on a friday because the music sucks. They charge 15$ because no one is here and they need to recoup costs. They used to play good hip hop/ rap, now its just electronica/ house. No one is dancing except the dj. Went from super lit andfull to no one here. High entry fee for a vibeless club. Wont be back. I feel embarassed for bringing my friends here.

This lounge was recommended to me by a friend. I was told the wings were really good and the beer selection as well, so I gave it a shot and I was not disappointed. They also have pool tables. Seating wise, they have tables, bar seating, and booths. Iforget what day it was, but there is also live music here.
