Taiyos Sushi Poki - Riverside

Let me begin by saying that I rarely write reviews, but I was very impressed by this restaurant. I have been exploring different sushi places in every state I visit for the past 15 years. Very few have left a lasting impression on me, but this place has become one of my favorites. The speed at which the food comes out of the kitchen is surprisingly fast, and the quality is outstanding in both presentation and taste. I have no doubt that I will return to dine here again.

Without a doubt, this is the best sushi restaurant in Riverside. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of rolls and sashimi options ranging from unique to classic. The restaurant is top-notch in every way, and the terrace is a lovely space with greenery and wooden lattice. The music sets a great atmosphere, but it's not too loud to hinder conversation. Any sushi lover who appreciates the quality of beachside dining in Orange County will be impressed.

It used to be better, but it's gotten pretty slow, orders get messed up, or they don't send out the complete orders for AYCE. It happens pretty much every time. They also started adding tip for parties of 4 and up, but they don't tell you. There's a sign that does mention it at the front but if you're not looking at it it's easy to miss. Other ayce places let you know before you agree, which is nice.The food is still good, but prices going up the auto tip, and the constant order mess ups makes me not want to come back.

Wow wow wow wow! Absolutely love this hidden away place. For several years we ate at Don Jose's that is now Rubio's across the street and never noticed it right in front of our faces as we exited Don jose. The sashimi salad or fish salad is so good, my daughter actually ate three in one sitting one time when you're visiting. We've been for six of our birthdays since discovering it and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly, everything's very well maintained and clean, and the food comes quite quickly. Everybody loves the muscles, I just don't try them. But I'm told they are the best ever. The prices are affordable.

We ended up at a Chinese restaurant but it was closed, so we decided to try the sushi place instead. The restaurant is quite spacious and surprisingly offers an "All you can Eat" option. While I couldn't possibly eat enough to make it worth it, my partner certainly can. He ordered a variety of dishes, including rolls, hand rolls, sushi pieces, oyster shooters, snuggle (not sure what this is supposed to be), and edamame. I opted for the chicken teriyaki bento, which was delicious. My partner loved his meal and said it was delicious. We will definitely be returning to try their poke. Can it compare to Hawaii? Only time will tell.
