Marisa's Italian Deli - Riverside

Quaint little Italian deli was a nice little find. Sandwiches and Italian soda were enjoyable on a lovely shaded patio. Authentic meats and fresh bread. Worth a stop! ????????

As someone from the East Coast, I have to say that our family vote on this restaurant didn't go well. I'm currently struggling to enjoy my Tommy Gun and meatball sub because the bread is stale. They also lack authentic Italian desserts, and there were no hot or sweet peppers available. The cannoli was disappointing as well. However, I have to give a shout-out to my father-in-law for capturing a great photo with his impressive stack of stale bread. If you're thinking about dining here, I recommend saving yourself some time and just heading to the Subway next door instead.

This is a lovely, cozy spot. The staff made me feel right at home. I ordered the mini version of their Italian sub called Gabagool, and it was absolutely delicious—authentic Italian, not a fake version. I highly recommend this place 100%. I didn't take a picture of the sandwich, but trust me, it was fantastic!

This is my favorite restaurant in Riverside. Over the past two years, I've been visiting at least once a week, even during the pandemic, because the food and staff are fantastic. They have done an excellent job of keeping customers safe from COVID—mask-wearing is mandatory, and hand sanitizers are readily available. The staff are all incredibly friendly; they even remember my usual order! The food is absolutely delicious! The submarines are definitely a must-try, and I have to mention that they serve the best pomodoro sauce and iced lattes (with no ice) I've ever had. I'm leaving Riverside for a few months, and I will miss this place so much!

A nice and cozy place with an Italian flair, dishes and imported food items. The decoration is lovely and contributes to a peaceful environment while enjoying a coffee. A good place to have a lunch, meet with friends or do some studying/work. I personally love their cappuccino and salads. I just wish the staff was more attentive and welcoming. Therefore I give 4 and not 5 stars.
