Cafe 136 - Rising Fawn

A friend I stopped in to eat after the New Salem Festival Saturday she got a vegetable plate I got the spaghetti salad. Our food was pretty good. She ordered a cheeseburger fries to go. The burger was completely raw inside had to be thrown out. Make sure the meat is cooked inside before serving it to someone. The atmosphere is cute though our waitress was friendly.

My wife and I recently visited this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was absolutely delicious. My wife opted for the hand-battered chicken tenders, which were incredibly tender and delicious.

Cute little place. Decent burger especially if you are famished right after hiking all day. Loved that the food wasn't over seasoned and cooked perfectly. They had a good selection of sides too. The pies were delicious. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating.

Don't take call in orders very well never answer phone then have to go through drive threw and wait 20 mins kind of annoying for a good place with good food gas station next door answers phone always and decent

The service at this restaurant is friendly and fast, with my glass always being kept full and all my needs being met promptly. The food arrives quickly and is delicious. This is our go-to spot every time our crew works in the area, and we are never disappointed. I highly recommend trying this sweet little spot near Cloudland Canyon State Park. It brings back memories of the good old days. I give it a 5-star rating.
