Apres Igloo - RIO DI PUSTERIA

For four days we went for the Aperitif at this place. Maria has spoiled us and prepared fantastic Hugos. The mango then spectacular. Last night we got ready and brought in the chalet two pizzas that I don't hide are among the best ever eaten in our life. The delivery and the pizza was hot. Thank you therefore of heart to all and one particular to Mary, nice, friendly and very professional. We'll be back for sure.

I begin with saying that unfortunately Maranza does not offer the possibility of evening rooms to dine, very few, just a couple... but fortunately there is Apres Ski Bar Igloo. Themed and welcoming location. Typical cuisine is the pizzeria meets any type of requirement. Friendly and friendly staff.

The Igloo bar is located a few steps from the ski lifts and this undoubtedly gives it an element of great advantage; however, it observes some bizarre rules: before the 13 (atomic clock) you can not have lunch (but the menu is consultable), but only drink (however, the workers working in the area were eating a meal); pizza is served only in the evening. In the face of cotanta austerity and bureaucracy, we had a beer waiting for the lift to reopen after the break (at 13, precisely) and then go up and have a decidedly better view. Average prices (€3.30 for Forst from 0.33lt and €5.50 for average). Austere, but pleasant.

Kitchen open until 21.00. We went a couple of times to this restaurant during our stay in Maranza because it seemed to us the only place to have dinner. We have tried many proposals different from the menu and: we recommend the steak of beef, juicy and tasty, as well as of discreet size, and the rösti (a kind of fritter of flavored potatoes); the pizza, very good (but if you do not love the oregano, make it present because they abound); we do not recommend the caprese. For €9 arrive A chopped tomato and A mozzarella. A really exaggerated price; we do not recommend bruschetta: it is exactly the same that you could do at home. A special note of personal merit because in the two nights in which we went we have seen practically always and only a single girl, blonde, solar and very dynamic, running throughout the room. The employee everyone wants to have! For the car park, you can park in the large bay of the cable car or on the left of the room, along a road uphill.

Typical local Tyrolean, good service for the type of local, I ate excellent meat and very clean flavor. I drank as an aperitif a gin tonic (hendhrics) also have wines at the glass and then beer
