Krindenhof - Ringoldswil

The best rosti in town. This is a charming, multi-lingual family run farmhouse style restaurant. The dinning is fabulous in their beautiful gardens.The view of the Neisen is amazing! My favorite part are the play areas for kids. They have a trampoline, swings, and climbing areas. It's nice to have the kids play while the adults relax and chat over a bottle of wine. We always take a car here, but I have noticed more bike riders stopping in while on their rides. I highly recommend visiting on a sunny day.

We had a pretty good lunch in Krindenhof: classic Swiss cuisine with a bit of research in presentation. Staff was efficient and friendly. It is worth to note that their menus are translated in English and French which is not really common in this area when you are not in touristic locations. The restaurant in 400 meters above the Thunersee which gives a wonderful view of the mountains on the south-western side of the lake. They also have a nice terrace that we were not able to enjoy due to the weather.

Very nice local Berner Oberland style restaurant serving a good menu including great Rösti. We sat outside and enjoyed the garden while having a view of the lake below. Not easy to reach, you need a car in any case.

This is the place to experience simple fresh ingredients pesented nicely in a spectacular view setting, Go only in goo weather. Foon is plain but excellent and ultrafresh.
