Tequila Escape - Ridgefield

They ran out of the one dish we 'd come to have there. As many of the reviews seem to suggest, service is ok meh. They aren 't flexible (asked for a slight modification to one of the dishes and they wouldn 't do it). For the food they serve, they 're on the expensive side.

Our experience at Tequila Escape was great. The food was fresh and well prepared and the service was attentive. I especially enjoyed a passion fruit margarita and the shrimp tacos. Mushroom tacos were also tasty. The salad was very good. If you have a sweet tooth, try the churros but make sure to share them. It's a LOT for one person.

Excellent food and service. They were understaffed but still the service was excellent....somehow! Hard working, friendly wait staff and excellent food. Highly recommend.

We went to check in for our reservation at the hostess desk. Was told by one guy to wait for the woman he pointed to, who then came by and ignored us, then another came and ignored us. Finally I got the attention of a guy there who said it would be a few minutes. We went outside to say hello to friends that were dining outside. 20 minutes later, no one had approached us. So we went back in and no one knew what we were talking about. So, they had to find out. Finally our table was ready. (30 minutes after we said we were there). our server was very friendly. Our food was good. The pitcher thing of margarita was good, but realistically mostly ice. There was some confusion on dishes, as my husband ordered chicken fajitas, and they brought him shrimp fajitas (which he cannot eat). they forgot my friends rice and beans and tortillas for her fajitas. So, 1/2 of us had food and the other half had to wait 5 more minutes. Not the end of the world, but food gets cold quickly. Anyway, the food was good. We may be back, but not on a Saturday night.

This place was great. Lots of seating options. Menu is creative and vast.
