Contribuiți la feedbackWe stayed at the B&B. Perfect stop before resuming our much (covid) delayed Pennine way walk. Friendly, welcoming host, comfortable room with great views, great breakfast, will stay again if we're back in Hawes.
We've been coming to Herriot's for lunches and B B for a good few years now. Glenn Liz always make us so welcome. The business has been severely cut back due to covid, but the cafe and art gallery are scheduled to open later this month. We spent 3 nights B B just a week ago, and the quality never changes. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!
Stopped on chance for a drink whilst visiting Hawes. Very Friendly staff, home made cakes which were delicious and well made Latte's. A great friendly stop off. Just one note this place only takes Cash, No Cards!
Visited with my husband and son today. Were made very welcome even though we arrived just a few minutes before the end of the lunch service. I chose the ciabatta with Yorkshire blue cheese, pickled pears and walnuts and I can honestly say it was one of the best lunches I've ever had. Highly recommended!
My wife and I decided to visit this café in Hawes after failing to find another one that served tea cakes past 12pm. I was really craving a teacake, okay! The café had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with an attached gallery showcasing some beautiful artwork. The owner, who we assumed to be the owner, was friendly and took the time to chat with us about our choices. I opted for the teacakes, while my wife chose the cheese scone. We both loved our selections, especially the teacakes with Seville marmalade, which recently won a Great Taste award. I couldn't resist buying some of the marmalade to take home. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem of a café.
