Lovely dining experience served by friendly staff good wholesome food cooked from homegrown ingredients including Apricot sauce made from their own orchard

We stayed in a villa. It's spacious, clean, comfortable bed and somewhat odd. Good heating and cooling. We did not go to the restaurant. Nice rural setting.

Nice settings, good restaurant, rural but still close to town, large room, very friendly owners. Nice apricot farm.

Visit was for small wedding reception in restaurant. Stayed 2 nights. Bed very hard. Need a degree to operate shower. I failed, not being able to produce cold water. Dust and cobwebs around the room. The cleaner even left us a bag of tea towels for some reason. More likely forgot them.The restaurant was a shambles. Wine and beer warm. Soft drinks were home brand and tasted foul. Owner (woman) became stressed whenever there were more than 2 people at the bar. Steaks were well undercooked and salmon over cooked. Scallops ruined by the horrible sauce.Still the whole adventure provide humour at the wedding table.

This review is about our experience at the Hatcher's Manor Restaurant. While we are reluctant to give a family business a poor review, there is a resonsibility to reccommend that you don't spend your hard earned money at the restaurant. We arrived to an empty restaurant and ordered drinks. The beer was warm due to the fridge not being turned on. Our Coke and Sprite tasted like Draino. When we spoke to the grumpy manager he tasted it and said it was fine only later to say it was a "diet" drink. (He didn't charge us for the drinks) I started getting nervous. Then one of the workers goes behind the bar and gets a fresh can of Sprite for himself but we were stuck with budget brand flat stuff. We only drank water from then on. We ordered a salmon which looks to have come out of a oven bake packet with undercooked veggies and a smelly lime and cream sauce. The steak was tough and the sauce watery. These meals were about $28 each. They were not fit to be served and we feel ripped off. This has been the worst restaurant we have ever been to and needs Gordon Ramsay to come and save it. We stayed overnight in a cottage and that was fine, clean and comfortable. We feel that it is not right to expect people to sit down, shut up and take whatever garbage that they deign to serve, we work just as hard too. If you charge city prices then you neec to deliver city service.
