Well Tea - Richmond

We first started going to Well Tea many years ago and the experiences were always positive! We always enjoy the food here everything is tasty and delicious, and the wait time for the dishes is reasonable. Vicky, the store owner, is friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be coming back for the yummy food and the great service. Highly recommend this restaurant to all it's a Richmond gem for sure!

We came in with a big group so it was understandable that the food gonna be slowOur table waited for over an hour to get our food, I ordered the miso chicken teriyaki fried rice and the portion of the teriyaki chicken was only one scoop… I asked the waitress why my portion of chicken was significantly smaller than other people’s portions. She said because fried chicken supposed to be larger than cooked teriyaki chicken because of the fried batter?I asked if she could ask the kitchen to add more because clearly the rice to chicken ratio is 1:9. She said yes and ended up charging my an extra $2 for it.Wouldn’t come back to this place again since you are paying $20+ for fried rice and a little bit of meat.

I just had shaved ice with black pearl, grass jelly and condensed milk. I was expecting that milk should be included but it’s was one of the add-ons instead. I wonder what would it taste like without milk at all so naturally you got to have milk. So it’s just average for me but unfortunately!

5 stars for their Yim So Nugget.Always juicy inside, crispy outside and fresh. Never disappoint, when I need a Yim So Nugget fix you will find me here. Perfect blend of flavour.You can pick up some HK idols and groups freebie by fans here. Thumbs up for being the gather point for fan.

The fried rice dishes are good for late nights but everything else about this place is so so. Prices are extremely high, and the staff is inconsistent.
