Tandoori Kona Restaurant - Richmond

Love this restaurant! The spice level is perfect! I always order Shahi Paneer hotThe dish is flavourful and strong.

First time eating here, visiting from California on a business tripThe service was pretty quick considering it was quite busy for a Wednesday night.

Vanuit het Accent Inn Richmont ca. 800 meter lopen. Een winkelcentrum met vele Aziatische restaurants. Kleine overzichtelijke zaak met leuke kaart en prima Indiaas eten tegen een zeer schappelijke prijs. Wij bestelden 2 schotels die wij met z'n drieën deelden. Ruim voldoende.(Géén alcoholische dranken). Prima restaurant met veel locals en vele 'afhalers'.

It was always a treat to go here. Especially once they updated the atmosphere. The past few times however they haven't been as good. The service is poor. They forget to bring items, don't ask if you need anything, don't clear plates or bring water refills. The food also seems to be a little different. Not as much chicken in the bowls and the sauce more watery. This with higher prices. Still good but not excellent. This used to be our goto indian place but has let us down.

This is my second review for this place . Since I was in Richmond and needed to do a dinner takeout , I thought of trying them again . I wanted to soak in my bottle of JLohr back in my hotel room with some Indian food . My previous experience told me food will be good but I wanted to see if they had paid heed to few other details . I was pleased to see they had .Tandoori chicken was excellent and portion huge ( they should charge more ) .Excellent naans and saag paneer . I was happy to tip them for the takeout !
