My Battleship Burger and my partner jambalaya tasted good and arrived without delay. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I can see that this is a great place to come in summer with a view of the outside seat.
This afternoon for lunch with 3 of my mates. Many free parking. We were greeted by a very polite hostess who immediately set us up. The server came to us within seconds, took our drink order after she had dropped the drinks... then she took our food orders. We all had a fantastic meal, no problems. On the way out, the host thanked us for coming in. Recap. Food and service was fantastic. In any case, it'll go again.
Very interesting brunch menu, 4 different choices in our group and Rave reviews all around. Would recommend reservations as the time when we left the place was really filled. On a beautiful day they have plenty of space outdoors, but on a rainy day... they wouldn't work.
We were in the Vancouver area for a cruise and were looking for a non-chain restaurant for lunch. Found Milltown on Trip Advisor and delighted us. Great menu and service. Good drink selection. We took a Uber to and from the restaurant and noticed... many other Ubers/Lyfts and Taxis also made drop-off and pick-ups during our visit. Many seats from the open air near a canal where you can sit with your pets, under a awning or inside.
I have visited Milltown Pub 8-9 times now and definitely plan to return. It is a hidden gem! The food quality has been consistently excellent, especially the burgers and fish and chips. The Tug Boat Burger is phenomenal with cheese, mushrooms, crispy onions, and delicious fries. My family couldn't resist finishing their plates, despite intending to take leftovers home. The fish and chips, yam fries, and Superfood Salad are all great choices. The Seafood Cobb Salad is a must-try, although I prefer it with turkey instead of shrimp. The salad has a chop mix, ranch dressing, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, cucumber, egg, and shrimp beautifully presented. However, the salad was inconsistent in preparation on subsequent visits. Despite this, I still enjoy Milltown for its convenient location, ample parking, and charming indoor and outdoor seating areas. The lack of dessert options was disappointing, but the overall experience is positive. I hope the Cobb Salad situation improves, but it won't stop me from returning. I recommend trying this place for a scenic meal with a cold beer and burger, and checking out their music trivia nights. Top marks from me, with the hope for group reservations in the future.
