They are vigilant about Covid precautions, as the tables are sanitized, the restaurant is clean, and there is adequate table distancing. I originally came here for their dessert, but ended up trying their burger. Unfortunately, I did not find it delicious. I swapped the regular bun for a gluten-free one, but it was hard and tasted stale. The dessert was tasty but overly sweet for my liking. I appreciated the combination of chocolates and cheesecake, and the portion size was generous. The staff was friendly, but there seemed to be a shortage of waiters, resulting in longer wait times for food and drink refills. I had to ask for water and the bill multiple times before they were attended to. Despite this, I believe they have good food, especially their pizzas. I will definitely come back to try them, but they may need more staff to improve service efficiency.
On Pasta Tuesdays, we decided to visit Boston Pizza, and it is likely the only time we will return. The deal for gourmet pastas at $12.99 is a steal. The portions were decent and the food quality was mixed. The Chicken Mushroom Fettuccine was cooked well with a nice, thick sauce, although it lacked chicken. The garlic bread was tasty but the wait time was nearly 40 minutes. The Jambalaya Fettuccine was initially watery, resembling soup, and had to be redone, adding another 30-minute wait. The Hungry Carnivore pasta was saucy and delicious, but the portion was disappointingly small. The iced tea was good, but we had to ask multiple times for a refill. Overall, the service was lacking, resulting in a rating of 6/10. Despite the decent pricing and food quality, the overall experience was not enjoyable. We may not return to the Ackroyd location due to inconsistent food and poor service. It is recommended to try the Ironwood or Queen Borough locations for a better experience. The total bill before tip was $44.48.
I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and it was very crowded with birthday parties, making it loud. Despite the noise, my family enjoyed our meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was as we expected. I ordered my usual, the Big Dipper, and the kids meals for the children. It's a great deal if you have the BP $5 Kids Cards.
I haven't been to Boston Pizza in years and I was really excited about having their pizza again. First of all the service was pretty bad. We walked in the door and it took at least 10 mins the hostest noticed we were there. And our dinner service was almost non existence because we didn't see our server besides taking our order, getting our food and bill. Honestly pretty disappointed with the service. We really enjoyed out perogies pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza was cheesy and sliced potatoes really complimented pizza dough it was crispy and chewy at the same time. The Caesar salad had the right amount of ranch and bacon bits. The last item we got was the baked ravioli. We didn't care for it because it lacked flavor. Overall the food wasn't too bad but the service was kind of a turnoff. Hopefully it will be better next time.
We sat here for over 15 minutes and wasn't offered until another 15 mins later. The food arrived another 1/2 hour later.... but at least the server was courteous... Had a Caesar salad but they didn't use romaine so that was a bit odd....
