My wife had a Vegan dish.It was the most authentic Ghanaian dish I've had in the USA. Staff was nice, food was fresh, hot and delicious and of more than ample size. Quiet inside dining. Dessert offerings we did not utilize and healthy drink options as well.
1st visit was pretty good! I ordered the salmon stir fry and a side of plantains. The salmon was flavorful and juicy. I had low expectations for the vegetables but they were delicious! I got an extra side of the tomato based sauce which rounded the meal out perfectly. The plantains were good but cooked just a bit hard for my liking. My date ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich. Though he said the chicken was flavorful, it was also dry. His side was the waakye rice. It was kind of bland and on the dry side. Overall, service was great and everything came out hot and fresh. I’ll definitely visit again!
This place was delicious. Me and my dad decided to drop by after running a few errands. He ordered the fish sandwich with flounder and I ordered the vegan fish sandwich and elderberry sea-moss. Everything was made to perfection with love and authenticity. It's a nice locally owned small business that's definitely worth trying. Their menu is filled with traditional Ghanaian dishes mixed with an American fusion. They also have a variety of vegan/plant based dishes as well as normal dishes. Definitely will be going back here within the next 48 hours.
Always a pleasure going here!!! Food lil pricy but it's worth it.... Our cashier was absolutely so friendly, very young and had such a mature work ethic, jus melted my heart!! Love it!! The food is fresh and tasty, had the peanut soup w/ goat ???? and my hubby had the best looking salad plating I hve ever seen, colors were popping!! Entrees were salmon for me and the snapper for hubby w/ the Waakye rice, never had it before also ???. Only took pics of soup and salad. We had take away..... would always be a jaunt of mine.....Vegetarian options: It is also a vegan restaurant!!
Authentic west African (Ghanian) food here for ya folks! The place light bright clean and owners very helpful and accommodating nothing like good service I enjoyed the peanut butter soup with rice ball or what they call amutoo I think lil hint it comes with Bantu or Reg rice you have to ask for it ahead for it to be served this way it was delish I found the goat a lil on skimpish side I only got 2 bones but they were meaty and as it turns out filling Hubby had chicken n jollof and it was tasty too. We've had slightly better jollof with the tomato sauce but it was good nonetheless! Our lil ones had a hard time with the chicken nuggets as they are the breast and the way prepared caused them to be dry but they scarfed down the waffle fries! We tried their fresh juices and hubby liked the red velvet cake
