Tineo Peruvian Bakery Cuisine

The food was unimpressive, to say the least. We couldn’t even finish the empanadas because they were unappetizing. I ordered the pollo lomo saltado, and we were both quite disappointed; there was no seasoning at all. It tasted like plain meat cooked in oil and salt—nothing more. The service was lacking as well; we were only attended to twice, once to take our order and again to check on it.

We ordered grilled chicken, causitas, empanadas, chocolate and lucuma cake, and piononitos for takeout. The staff was very friendly, and they delivered our order right on time. Everything was delicious! Additionally, the customer service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

In my opinion, the food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was spectacular. I highly recommend the salchipapa and the grilled chicken!

Drive in to DFW just to eat here. After spending 10 days in Peru this summer 2 weeks without lomo saltado was too long. I’m a good cook and will make it in the future, but didn’t have some of the needed ingredients so we found a recommended Peruvian restaurant and set out. There was no let down I had tallarin de huancaina con lomo saltado. (That’s a beef stir-fry on a bed of spaghetti noodles in a cheesy pepper sauce. and a sugar free Inca cola. Took me right back to Lima. My wife got lomo saltado also excellent, and then we spent too much on stuff to take home. All in all we will be back and it was fantastic

Staff were friendly. Service was fast even though there were only 2 working up front. Food was excellent. We will definitely return. The lomo saltado tasted just like what I had in Peru. We can’t wait to try the baked goods and Aji Amarillo we bought too
