I have never met a more friendly staff. I was the only one in the restaurant and they gave amazing recommendations. I had the smothered pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans. Those green beans were a spiritual awakening for me. They were so good. I could eat a whole plate of just that. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the gravy was a symphony of flavor. The pork job fell off the bone so easily I could cut it with a fork. I can’t wait to come back and get my fix again. This food was so delicious. So glad I stumbled upon this place.

Nana and her husband are outstanding! The food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. Thank you both for bringing such a fantastic restaurant to the Garland/Richardson area. Everyone should definitely give it a try!

I had a wonderful lunch today at Nana's Kitchen. I ordered the fried chicken dinner, which included three sides, and every bite reminded me of being home at my mom's dinner table. You can truly feel the pride and love the owners put into every meal they prepare and serve. If you're in the mood for delicious soul food and excellent service, this is the place to be.

I ordered the oxtails, and they were absolutely delicious. The smothered chicken was also great. However, I wasn't a big fan of the mac and cheese. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the green beans and collard greens. The fried catfish was fantastic as well. I'll definitely be returning—I want to try everything on their menu!

Okay Nana!! Y'all out did yourselves I got the catfish lunch special for me and my husband both with sweet potatoes and he had dressing and gravy and I had cabbage. My God everything was absolutely delicious the catfish was crispy and well seasoned just like we like. And that cabbage ohhh wee made me taste buds sing lol everything was amazing. Love me some good soul food and Nana's sure put LOVE in what they cook. Next time got to get me some cool aid and a slice of sweet potato pie. Again thank you for making my stomach happy
