Laugardalslaug - Reykjavik

Needs a bit of updating and a touch of color, but otherwise an amazing setup for about £6 per. A 50m indoor pool and a 50m heated outdoor pool, several hot tubs, a steam bath and slides as well as a play area for children. A great way to spend a few hours.

The best swimming pool in Reykjavik! Features cold and hot baths, sauna, olympic swimming pool, virtually everything you need. And the slope is so much fun!

Absolutely loved this pool. The shower and changing rooms are clean, organized. So nice to see strict requirements for showers, etc. before entering the pool. Beautiful life jackets in the 50 m pool, followed by dives in the frigid (6-8 degrees) pool and the various whirlpools of 40-44 degrees. The real treat is the seawater whirlpool. So relaxing after a training. Play plenty of space for children in the recreation area of the pool. All in all, a great facility.

Large public pool, with indoor and outdoor pools, a steam bath, whirlpools at different temperatures (38°, 40°, 42° and 44° and a 6° degree tub if you are brave! A huge slide (for children and adults alike). Free admission for seniors 67 !

10 minutes bus from Reykjavik Downtown, but highly recommended for the special experience here.
