Gandhi Indian Restaurant And Bar

We stumbled upon a beautiful small Indian restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik, right next to our hotel. Initially skeptical about finding authentic Indian food in Reykjavik, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors at this place. The curries were not watery, but instead made with good ingredients and flavorful spices. While the tandoori chicken wasn't as good as the original, it was still enjoyable. We learned that the restaurant had recently hired a new chef from Bangladesh and some other Indian staff members. Overall, a good dining experience with authentic Indian aromas.

This restaurant offers the best food in the city with friendly service. The staff is very friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile for their customers. It is no wonder they are considered the best in the city - a must-visit when on the island and a top choice for a dining experience.

I had a truly outstanding meal at this restaurant. The Tandoori rack of lamb was some of the best lamb I have ever tasted! The fried potato pakora was also a delectable appetizer. I will definitely be coming back for another meal.

A very nice restaurant with a great hospitality. authentic Indian recipes with Indian taste. was looking for dal makhani, but it chana masala and yellow dal tadka were simply amazing. kudos to gandhi restaurant team for an amazing experience of our home indies

Amazing place, the food is soooo good and the atmosphere is really nice. The staff is just amazing especially the girl who was nice and positive. Highly recommend it
