Icelandic Fish Chips - Reykjavik Island

One of the best fired fish I've ever had. the dough is not very heavy or oily. the portions are generous, I have three really big pieces fish. they have preconfigured combos that they can save a few dollars. the mango salad is a little expensive, but is good with the fried fish. the rosmarink-artoffers were so good that we had to order another side. the personal is really friendly. we just walked in on a Thursday night and it was moderately busy. they can make reservations when they are large group.

A great place. comfortable music. a relaxed atmosphere. a medium-sized restaurant. good fish dishes. fairer price.

Service was good. the fish was average, but gone too salty. you can see the pieces of the salt in the photos. they can choose from 3 different types of fishing. the chips cost extra and are good, but also very salty. they can also have a series of different dips for an additional, but they warn everything special.

The best fish chips I had everywhere. the fish changes regularly so that they can find out which options are available when they come there. I had the cod and he slept in my mouth. they get to choose from a selection of dip sauce or just go with the classics if they want. the mango salad was also extremely good and huge. it is about average price for the opposite, but the portions are gigantic.

First the good: the food was really delicious. The bad: it took over an hour for our table of four to get our four orders of fish. We were told (after waiting 45min and asking where our food was) that they only had one cook. Still some more heads up about a wait would have been nice. Also don't go in expecting classic fish and chips. The chips are roasted potatoes. But they were still delicious as were the onion rings.
